The Journey Begins

I decided to do yoga everyday for a month to strengthen myself for my Yoga Teacher training. My usual schedule is 3-4x a week with a minimum of 2 days a week but I felt I wasn’t making the strides I wanted to go forward. With fairly tight hips with one possible labral tear in my left hip, tight shoulders, a middling core and little arm strength for the arm balances, it was time to kick it up a notch. Oh did I mention I’ll be 55 in a week, I’m the oldest in my teacher training class— yay me!

When I started my teacher training in January (it’s now July) I felt the training would keep me on course. I tend to want to give back, help others instead of putting myself first, the training schedule helped me set priorities
